Childcare assistance Dr. Schär

Dear parents,

For the school year 2024/25 holidays, Dr. Schär is organizing a holiday program in collaboration with the social cooperative Ki.Ba. Project for the children of the employees. Ki.Ba. Project has been providing extracurricular childcare for 18 years and organizes summer care, holiday care, childcare at events, as well as ski kindergartens and the Kuni Kids Park in Bozen. This project is being offered to address the challenge of balancing family and work within the company.

Here are the key details:

WHO?

The main target group are primary and nursery school children, children of Dr. Schär employees, but children of middle school age are also welcome. The service is intended for employees who are actually on duty. The minimum number of participants is five children per day of care.

WHERE and FOR HOW LONG?

On weekdays during holiday periods (All Saints' Day, Christmas, etc.) from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Drop-off time is from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. The pick-up time varies according to the individually agreed-upon care schedule for each family. For children of production employees, it is possible to bring them to care between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM, provided they work the afternoon shift on the respective day. The meeting point is always the former administrative headquarters of Dr. Schär - 1st floor.

WHAT?

EEach vacation day has a different theme: sometimes we express ourselves artistically, other times we move to the rhythm of music, and we also play group and movement games. We explore the surrounding environment and enjoy outdoor activities. There is also plenty of time for free play: a wide range of materials is available, so there is something suitable for every child. Attention is given to maintaining a healthy balance between free play, creative activities, rest, and outdoor activities, because the holiday period should truly feel like one. Lunch and snacks are provided. The assistants, who speak German and Italian, are trained for the service and prepared by the organizational staff of Ki.Ba. Project.

ORGANIZATIONAL NOTES

You can book individual days during the respective holiday periods, specifying the care times for each day. Registration must be completed at least 14 days before the start of the holidays (for the respective holiday period) on this Homepage. After registration, you will receive an invoice for the care costs, which must be paid within 5 days of receiving the invoice. Dr. Schär covers the remaining costs and thus provides significant support for the project.
